Of the six New York State Federation Champions crowned in Glens Falls, four hailed from the Five Boroughs. Lincoln (Boys AA), South Shore (Girls AA), LaSalle Academy (Boys B) and Staten Island Academy (Girls A) each earned a New York State Federation title in their respective class.
Lincoln 80 Long Island Lutheran 63
After an intense back-and-forth first quarter, Lincoln went on a 9-0 run to close the first half, with all of those points being scored by MVP Donald Cannon-Flores, as the Railsplitters took control with a 39-29 halftime lead.
Lincoln's defense was the real story of the game, notching 10 steals and forcing 20 LuHi turnovers in what turned into a defensive exhibition. Michael Reid finished with 13 points, Kclejuan Brown scored 12 and Othello Smith 10 for Lincoln.
South Shore 59 TMLA 31
MVP Selena Philoxy scored a game-high 19 points, as the Lady Vikings ran away with a 59-31 win over The Mary Louis Academy in the Girls Class AA Final. South Shore's defense denied TMLA standout Danielle Patterson in the high post, disrupting the Hilltoppers' offense and creating opportunities in transition. Destiny Philoxy and Earlette Scott scored 11 points each, while Diamond Shavis finished with 10.
LaSalle 80 Westhill 67
James Bouknight scored a game-high 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, as LaSalle Academy topped NYSPHSAA Champs Westhill 80-67 in the Class B Final.
Bouknight had what was arguably the best offensive performance of the weekend in Glens Falls, going 9-13 from the floor, 4-6 from 3-point range and 5-6 from the stripe to earn MVP honors. LaSalle finished the season with a 30-2 record.
Staten Island Academy 47 Jamesville-DeWitt 43
Elizabeth Althoff scored 14 points, Clare Mitchell had 13 and Emily LaPointe finished with 12, as Staten Island Academy edged Jamesville-DeWitt 47-43.
Just as they had done all season, the Lady Tigers suited up just seven players, but hung tough down the stretch to hold on for their second straight New York State Federation Class A Title.
