Saturday was a busy day on the college courts. Here's a summary of how New York City's alumni performed.
Men's Division I
St. Raymond's alum Isaiah Washington scored 14 points in Minnesota's 89-84 win over Alabama. While it paled in comparison to Collin Sexton's 40 point performance, we put it at the top of this list because of Washinton's part in a bizarre game in which Alabama played most of the second half short-handed after their entire bench was ejected for entering the court during a scuffle.
Brooklyn Law & Tech alum Matt Scott continues to shine for the Niagara Purple Eagles. Scott scored 25 points in Niagara's 95-90 loss to UT Arlington, including this buzzer-beating gem at the half.
St. Peter's alum Reilly Walsh had a game-high 14 points for NJIT in its 65-53 win over Drexel.
John Dewey III
Monsignor Scanlan alum John Dewey III had 13 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists for Sam Houston State in its 73-59 win over Santa Clara.
Cardozo alum Ray Salnave had 14 points for Monmouth in its 101-96 quadruple-overtime loss to Penn.
